"sean o'farrel"? is that the same as an irish car bomb?! .... drop a shot of jamesons/baileys into a guiness and pound it?!
i've had some bad experiences with boilermakers, especially this one night in scotland, the locals thought I was nuts when I ordered a round ... of course I had to do one solo to show them how...........

Limona Corona
1 bottle Corona® Extra lager
1 oz Bacardi® Limon rum
Open the corona. Fill the empty space in the neck in the bottle with the rum. The bottle should be filled to the top. Plug the bottle with your thumb or the palm of your hand. Turn the bottle upside-down so the rum and beer mix. Turn the bottle rightside-up, unplug, and drink.

I was in Destin for a week this past March for Spring Break. The first day, I went a bought 4 limes, a 12-pack of Corona, and a fifth of Bicardi Limon. I would open a bottle of Corona, drop in 2 limes and drink till the neck was empty. Then I would fill the neck all the way back up to the top with Bicardi Limon, put my thumb over the hole and turn it upside down to mix it. After about 3 or 4 of these, you're feeling just fine!

There are many reasons to dislike Corona. I'll try to touch on a few so that every group is represented. First and foremost, have any of you ever actually tasted this beer? Not drank, mind you, but tasted. Chugging this to get drunk is not tasting, because as any beer connoisseur will tell you, you have to savor the beer by drinking slowly, to absorb the different flavors. If you did that, you would pour the rest down the drain.
No real beer needs to be juiced up with shots of this or that. I rarely buy rum in the states. For the most part I buy it in the islands when I'm working there from small distillers, and I'd sooner give it away than mix it with beer.
This is awful. I'd compare it to water, but that's not fair to water. Water is drinkable. I have been to Mexico and Central America many, many times and have friends there who will vouch, as I will, that Corona is higher in alcohol content there. So, Corona assumes that Americans are not distinguished enough and they sell us the crap and keep the good stuff for themselves. That should offend any good beer-drinking American.
Corona claiming to be beer is like Hillary Clinton passing herself off as a senator from New York.
And if your issue is price, try Miller or Coors. Another reason to dislike this stuff is they've proven that we can be bought with flashy advertising.
If you run 5 miles and wrench the nut sweat from between the crack of your ass into a bottle, you'll get Corona.
This Amendment I drill is now concluded. Back to your lives citizens.

Should I admit that I actually like Corona? Even without limes or rum?

You had me until the nut sweat........ LOL...
However being a rum (Appleton only) drinking snob.... I have to tell you Corona w/ lime is actually the only beer I can stomach! Go figure!

I know it's the "in thing" now to dislike Corona since it's gotten so huge but I still love it.
I love Mexican beer, at least the imports we get here in the states.
My favorite is Tecate but even Tecate, SOL, Dos Equis, Modelo and the like all have a taste similar to Corona.

Guess I'll have to confess to liking Corona as well, although I must admit to liking it a lot better with a lime in it.

I like it A LOT...especially when I've had 6 or so.
Overall I'm not a beer fan and would prefer my Rum and Coke!

I tried these a few weeks ago and that's the only way I can handle a corona anymore. I heard it was called a Mexican Boilermaker. All I know is that this is one of those times where I can admit to 2 beers, while I'm crawling around on all 4's, and not be lying!!!
