I think you might need to clarify your question a little bit. If you are talking about songs that Jimmy has performed that are not his than that would be hard to say since he does not always perform the same songs in concerts. But if you are talking about his own songs that he has never record I don't think you can answer that. If it has never been recorded how do we know it is Jimmy's song?

Best JB Tune Never Recorded
Hands down, no questions, money back guarantee- "Jimmy Buffett Doesn't Live in Key West No More". . As dictated by David Alan Coe.
I know Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett is a friend of mine. Son, you're no Jimmy Buffett!

I *think* they're looking for songs that Buffett penned.Goodman wrote:Hands down, no questions, money back guarantee- "Jimmy Buffett Doesn't Live in Key West No More". . As dictated by David Alan Coe.

We agree. BTW I appreciate the Danko/Manuel song. Best a face to face chat some day. What would you think of JB covering "Life is a Carnival"?
FYI- Jimmy & "The Band" actually were once part of a all day show in like 1995. Don't think they were on the stage together. His loss.

I think Buffett and the Band go together in much the same way as Buffett, Feat, and the Grateful Dead so I'd love to hear that cover.Goodman wrote:Jahfin

Thanks for the compliment on "Danko/Manuel". I saw the Truckers over the weekend but Jason sat out quite a few songs vocally-wise so we weren't treated to that one. If you like the Band, may I suggest you check a band that draws from very similiar American roots called The Gourds from Austin, TX. They're best known for their bluegrass/country cover of Snoop Doggy Dogg's "Gin n' Juice" but there is so much more to them than that.
