It's a sad day for music fans in the NY area. Legendary DJ Scott Muni died Tuesday night, after more than 40 years on NY radio. With all the corporate owned cookie-cutter stations around today and their 20 song playlists, we may never see another one like him.

I grew up listening to Scottso on WNEW-FM. Lots of great music and great interviews. NY radio hasn't been the same since the corporate folks took over. He will be greatly missed.
