#1.............a classic! One picture says a lot.

And my least favorite: probably Off To See The Lizard, but I've always thought the Far Side of the World album cover was lame (it shows that it was thrown together at the last minute)....one of my favorite albums, just not the album cover.

This picture must have been taken in Key West. It looks exactly like the stretch of roadway on the westside of the island where you have beautiful water on one side and a hobo tent commune on the other.

I like alot of the covers. The favorite is You Had to Be There. Living and Dying in 3/4 Time is great. I'm not sure if the cd has the shark on the back but the origional album does. My least favorite is Beach House on the Moon.

Least favorite is the plain ole red and yellow Songs you play to death!
Most favorite is the gatefold of Livin and Dying that has the Bibby painting of Key West...I have that one framed beautifully.
I also like Barometer Soup. The story Jimmy told of going into one of the little booths for the see, hear, speak NO evil is a good one.
I also like all of Floridays and the story of Sunshine and Jimmy making friends with the animals.

There was a early CD issue of 3/4 that did have the shark photo somewhere on the insert. The mass produced version is (like the other 12) a complete travestry to the original art director's work.

I would say that Volcano is probably my favorite cover, but because there is no Jimmy on it I might have to chose another.
What do you all think of the MMIM cover? I like it, I think it shows the true Jimmy, happy with the warmest smile.

The same picture of Jimmy on MMIM cover is the same picture on the re-release of Fictional Facts and Factual Fictions stories from Margaritaville book

I noticed that the cover photo for Hot Water and the picture of Jimmy sitting and holding oranges in the booklet from Off to See the Lizard must be from the same day. He's wearing the same hat, shirt, shorts, sunglasses, watch, and necklace. I guess I'm very observant.

Also, did anyone catch that the photos used for the BBB&B inserts are un used photos from album photo sessions?
Beaches - Hot Water
Bars - Off To See the Lizard (back cover/inside of booklet)
Ballads - OPH (inner photo)
Not sure if this holds true for Boats, but if so, it would most likely be from the same photo shoot for the SOASOAS back cover.
Also, inside the handbook, I noticed photos from the A-1-A and Volcano photo shoots.

I agree that cilcia cover is nothing great, although the music is. The back cover is absolutely awful. What was JB thinking?

And come to think of it, they have that photo of JB in a speedo under the glass of one of the tables at the Margaritaville Cafe in Key West!! Who would want to see that while eating?!
