I know its a Bass guitar and not regular guitar but live in concert during 5:15 i think John Entwistle had the one of the best solos i have ever seen

page is great,no question there.i'm just a huge SRV fan because out of all the great guitarists out there i have never seen or heard someone who mixed unbelievable technical skills with emotion.whenever i watch a live performance of stevie i fell like i can actually tell what emotions he was feeling at the time he was playing.it really comes right through in the song.mexcooker12 wrote:I am a big SRV fan but I am a little suprised no one has said anything by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. I saw Lyle Lovett a couple of years ago and he has a cello player in his band who did a solo that would make a lot of guitarists look for a new career. I don't remember his name but the guy was incredible.

Joe Satriani's "Surfing with the Alien" has an awesme solo but then most of his tuneage is instrumental filled with awesome solos......

anything that John Fogerty plays is always amazing . . . i love all of those Creedence / Fogerty riffs and solos
