Last night I went to see one of my favortie songwriters, Jackson Browne. Along with him was Bonnie Raitt and Keb MO. Really great show. I had never seen Bonnie or Keb before so it was a really treat. Jacksons band backed all 3 artists up.
this was a part of the Move On tour happening in Michigan.

Well done, 'Kat!!
I'll bet the show was a great platform to play up tonight's VP debate!
Good job with Photoshop, too (yes?)

yah it was really nice to see 3 different acts together although I perfer to see Jackson all night.
I spent some time with Jackson after a show last December in Rockford, IL. I got to hang with him alone for about 45mins and talk and take countless pictures of him right after the show. It was really cool to be able to see Jackson for who he really is and not just the "star" figure he has to be most of the time. he was actually real with me. (knowning that I'm a musician too)
It was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I also got free tickets to that show which was really great of course. Quite a bit more serious and important in the world of songwriting that Buffett, but they both love the Islands!

One of my favorite concert experiences in recent years was seeing Jackson, Bonnie, Bruce Hornsby and Shawn Colvin (along with David Lindley and Wally Ingram) share the stage in every configuration you could imagine throughout the evening. The fact that Dennis 2 (the hurricane that hit the NC coast twice) was at full rage during the show only added to the proceedings.

I've never had the oppertunity to see Jackson & David Lindley together. I feel like I've really missed out.
But during a hurricane!!! Dear Lord! At least there was power!

It was more of a driving rainstorm than anything but it was definitely eventful.
This was my first time seeing Lindley. He and Wally Ingram opened the show and then proceeded to play with every artist throughout the night which was a real treat. One of many highlights was hearing him and Bonnie trade lead licks on Jackson's "Running On Empty". It was certainly a night to remember.
