I can't help but hear it in that song anymore. I'm not saying it doesn't sound pretty, but I think his lyrics are alluding to a lot of things that I don't agree with.

But then music like all forms of written expression - interpretation is can be so different from individual to individual. I always looked at it as a song of peace considering that it was written during the Nam war

You're the one who rejoices in the death of Kurt Cobain (and apparently other rock stars who don't fit your close-minded criteria of who is worthy of your admiration or not) and doesn't seem to fathom the loss of John Lennon to those of us that actually have some compassion in our hearts for our fellow human beings.

As opposed to someone like yourself who is just a ray of sunshine in everyone's life?
