Driving down the highway...

This was too cool to not share...
Last night, as I was driving north to deal with my missing Grandmother fiasco....
It was after dark, I was heading north on I-39. I came up on a minivan with kids in the backseat....they also had one of those mini TV/DVD players for the kids. They were watching....
ELMOPALLOOZA!!!!
AND... it was on the "Carribean Amphibean" scene!!!!!
I slowed down and drove alongside for a couple minutes....

ANother thing that happened that was kinda cool...
I had "Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays" in the CD player. After it cycled around, I listened to "Southern Cross" one last time, then went to change the CD. As I was switching, the radio came on....to Neil Young's "Southern Cross". It was weird, so I listened.
Strange station...they followed it with "Thriller".

Those in-car TV/DVD deals are so dangerous. Every time I see one, I watch what ever is on as well.

Had my entire Buffett CD collection along. The ride back seemed longer than the ride up.

I had a Buffett Freaky thing like that kinda once. I was reading A Pirate Looks @ 50 and was on a flight from Nashville to Jacksonville. (One I do WAY WAY too often) I had just read a line where Jimmy was flying and had just reached 10,000 feet. At that same moment, the pilot came on and said we had just reached 10,000 feet and had some turbulance and the ride was going to be a bit bumpy. Now...who was flying that plane and where was I really going????

Haha, Speaking of that. One of the reasons I bought by 1 1/2 year old that dvd was soley for Jimmy! hehe that and she likes elmo.

My kids like to do a conga line dance to the "Coconut Tree Song". It's the only time we're allowed to climb on the furniture.
