it may be bad but do you want the whole country to turn into MA?
might as well round up your guns now so you can turn them in if kerry gets into office.

This quote actually came from Kerry's biggest cheerleader - a writer for The New York Times:

When I asked Kerry what it would take for Americans to feel safe again, he displayed a much less apocalyptic worldview [than George W. Bush]. "We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance," Kerry said. "As a former law-enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. We're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.

Yep... car bombings, kamikaze flights, anthrax and other poisonous gas attacks.... JUST like prostitution and gambling!!!

Yep... he's gonna go off, make friends with the Frenchies, Germans, Polish, whoever... and their all going to hold hands and make peace in the Middle East. And then he's gonna go make friends with Russia, Japan & South Korea and then North Korea's just going to give up all their nuclear weapons because they will want to be friends with us too!

Look, don't get me wrong, I don't like either candidate. But WAY too many people seem to buy into this theory that as long as it's not Bush, the world is going to be a better place the day after Kerry is elected. That's such BS. A lot of the countries that Kerry wants to make nice with, don't want to be buddies with us.

And I don't feel safer because he has this imaginary "plan" for everything. You know, the one that he refers to 1800 times a minute, yet never clearly defines.

Like I said....I want another choice. :-?

you wouldnt need it,you would have more money because i would get rid of the retirement plan that senators have instead of drawing social security.that alone could put money back in everyones pockets and then the fact that politicians were on SS would make them get busy fixing it in a hurry.

Not entirely true, Tom. Members of Congress do pay into SS at a current rate of 6.2%. They also must pay at least 1.3% into their pension fund.

Don't get me wrong, it is a sweet deal for them. However, it's not quite as sweet as alot of people seem to think.

not so well known apparently.
so you honestly believe this whole war and everything that goes with it is because he was trying to get revenge for saddam thinking about killing his father?i suppose you also believe that the government was behind 9/11 to scare the U.S. into going to war.and we also didnt land on the moon

No, I don't think it was the sole reason. But I do think it had alot to do with his clouded judgement which in hindsight his been proven to be pretty shitty. I also think it had alot to do with his willingness to lie about many of the reasons why we were invading. You should know I was all for the invasion before we got the info that most of the reasons we went in for were B.S. We look like a bunch of idiots to the rest of most of the world. We really f**** this one up in my opinion. I guess I'm a little p*** off about being lied to about something so important. If I were close to someone who died in Iraq I'd close to going postal.
And it wasn't just thinking about killing Bush. They later found out they were in the country following him and got really close more than once.
do you think $hit like this had anything to do with it?
