I got to meet Jimmy back in September in Pittsburgh at the hotel we were in and had him autograph my Joe Merchant book. Someday I will have to put a scan of it on BN.

I talked to him for a bit, he was cool until I asked about that boat.
Being from Lauderdale, I have seen it all the time- I asked him if he ever spoke to the person who ownes it (mentioned the guy's name) and he got a little irked at said, "Thats it, we're (his crew) out of here" and left the bar.

Guess I crossed the line.......

I have seen it before as well, but I never went in it till the Travis McGee plaque re dedication. It was kinda cool..the head is not just head but a real bathroom, with a glass shower door and a real toilet not a usual boat kinda toilet. They are HUGE Parrotheads and they have Buffett stuff all over the plane/boat...whatever. I wonder what the deal is with JB?

As sheriff of this here thread I believe it's been hijacked. The topic I meant to discuss with you was JB's inability to perform certain songs because of his age, wealth or celebrity. You have taken us off chasin weird shaped ships and assorted other effluvia. I'm takin my thread and I'm gonna find me a spool and a stool and come up with a new topic.
