Guitarists?
Puts him right up there with Jimi Hendrix. Kind of surprising. I'm about as big a Buffett fan as you'll find, but I wouldn't want someone to laugh at me for making that statement.

You're a greatest-hits kind of guy.
My favorite album is Abbey Road. I love "Hey Jude." I also like folk music. I like some classical. I love guitar. Oh, God. I mean, you know -- Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Buffett . . .

I love Jimmy, not crazy about his politics and surely he is NOT the greatest guitarist. IMHO he isn't all that great at all at that. He IS a good song writer that surrounds himself with incredibly talented musicians.
As far as Kerry goes.. that dude hasn't got a CLUE about anything
and Bush ain't too far ahead of him.

Not sure there's anything for you to be disappointed about... worry about your own, not his.

Actually, I worry about people who's political opinions are based on what any celebrity says. Too many sheep and not enough shepards....
That said, G.W. all the way....

I agree... at least Jimmy is staying fairly quiet about his opinions. Some celebrities think we give a crap what they think about politics.

I laugh at people who follow partisan lines and do not think for themselves!! I am not a big Kerry fan but I believe he is twice the person George evercould be.

Looking at all the political debates we seem to be having lately and by reading all the passion that is in the posts, does anyone here really think that if they became famous, they would keep their opinions to themselves. They are just doing the same thing that we do on this thread. The only difference is they always have camera's in their face.
