or if you are in the Romeoville, IL area 88.1 FM I will be playing some songs off the new CD, plus an interview with Bry from the Parrot Island Band and playing all the Island tune from 12-2p CST you can take!!

And then... Beach Bum Band at Just One More in Joliet, IL! It's like an oaisis filled with cool people!

I'm working on a medium size group that I can gain control of their minds by making them listen to Beach Bum Music. I think we're at 8 and climbing for the Nov 1st show. Do we know if they will reserve a section for groupies? I'll throw my boxers on stage!

From Tiki's recap of Nadirah's CD release party last Friday at M'Ville in Las Vegas...

'Nadirah told a story of how when Club Trini used to play before the shows, this girl was there with her parents, and said she liked to sing, so they let her. And I'm pretty sure she said she even got up on stage with Jimmy to sing Cheeseburger in Paradise. Pretty darn cool!'

Ok, so I'm bored today- but this made me laugh!

Bet she actually HAD her CD at her release party...

After you left on Saturday, they handed me a "musical instrument" and I had a chance to play with the band

(Of course I'd have held out for the "cowbell" had I had a chance

)

I'll try to make the show on the 29th (according to Johnny they'll be one of the last non-acoustic bands that will be playing there....

It's funny you say that! We just signed on at Key Lime Cove for a total party package. So, I will be water sliding and then jammin' and of course... drinking!

OK- so it's set! The date is set in stone. December 9th will be the release date for the new CD- Sunny Place for Shady People. All pre-orders will be on Dec 6th... my 13 Anniversary of my 21st B-day! Spread the word!

NYE with the Beach Bum Band at Key Lime Cove:
Not all the details are finalized but Johnny says they are playing and thats enough to get me out there.

12/31 Standard Room is $359
1/1 Standard Room is $259

These rates include use of the indoor waterpark with extended hours, a kids balloon drop, an adult balloon drop and champagne toast, many other free activities are being worked out for kids throughout the weekend.

I was told that menus and buffets will be tweaked for the holiday not included in the price. They offer pizza specials 3 for $17 or something and they are tasty pizza's too.

Rates include hanging with Chicago's best Island Music Band . . .

The resort has an excellent spa and Gurnee Mills ginormous outlet mall of death is across the street.

Southwest airlines just announced cheap flights from Mpls to Chicago! Yay for more BBB shows next year!
