Solitaire, Vegas question

Post by NanaWind »

Playing some late-night solitiare inspired this question:

Is there actually solitaire in Vegas? If so, where, and if not, what spawned the "vegas-style" solitaire game option?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is asinine.

There used to be but as far as I know no casinos have it anymore. Last I heard the last casino got rid of it in the late 1980's.

My MIL was in Las Vegas recently looking for a solitaire table.
She came up empty, so I suspect they are no more.

Sounds like a cool way to get rid of your money, tho.

I think the basic rules were:
you pay $X for the deck and get about a buck back for each card that makes it into your suit piles at the top. (But you can only go through your deck one time.)
