Boston Globe wrote:If those who walked their sons and daughters up darkened ramps toward an emerald diamond were not around to watch champagne corks fly early today, the generation left behind is the keeper of those special memories.

Workers at Mount Auburn Cemetery said yesterday they began to see tiny Red Sox flags blossom near some headstones at the historic graveyard in Cambridge.

''This is a place where the living and the dead meet," said Janet Heywood, a Mount Auburn vice president. ''It seems appropriate that people would want to invoke the spirit of their ancestors and let them know what's happening with the Red Sox."

I must say I have ripped the sox on this board and I dont like the sox, but I do respect them, they really are one of the better teams I have seen in the past few years, the hitting and pitching and now even the defense. Hate to say it but Congrats to the Sox and their deserving fans. Cant believe I am saying this but "What till Next Year!" Lets go Yanks. Haha congrats guys, dont p*** off the cops at the parade.

I woke up this morning and had to get the morning paper to see it it said October 28th. I was so worried that it was going to say October 16th and the Sox were still down 0-3 and all that had happenned was a dream.

After the final out the adult establishment served champaigne and the toast was to as many former Sox players we could think of.

So for Tony C, Rico, Dewey, Jim Ed, Gentelman Jim, Freddy, Boomer, Butch, Yaz, Dick Radatz, Frank Malzone, Mike Andrews, Jerry Adair, Jose Santiago, Reggie Smith, Pudge, Ted Williams and Bobby Doerr. Double X, The Rooster, El Tiante, Wade, Steamer, Nomah, Rich Gedman, Hindo, Don Baylor, Cecil Cooper and even Roger.....our ship has come in...Salute!

Did this really happen? Am I awake? OMG, it's for real! :D

A part of me is waiting for the other shoe to drop...... For the cosmic forces to yell, "Oops, just kidding!!"
