For smart-alecs only...

An extremely looooooooooong post in another thread made me think (gawd, isn’t that dangerous?), we smart-alecs need a place of our own. A place that we know people will tear up our posts without inhibition. A place where we can blast a person without them “taking their ball and going home”. A place that is FUN and HUMOR is taken with a grain of salt. A place where EVERYONE has the right to say what they want, EVEN IF THE READER DOES NOT AGREE WITH THEIR POSITION. OH MY GAWD, THE FIRST AMENDMENT!!! AUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
Please do not even read any of these posts if you are thin-skinned, it could get ugly. You may even be offended. If you have ever uttered the phrase “GASP, I DON’T THINK THIS IS POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!!” please just hit the back button right now, because I don’t want you crying in my beer. Or stay and tell me what you think of me. You see, I can take it. BRING IT ON! But be ready for retorts from detractors.
I go to JB concerts to have fun with people with like interests. Every time I go, there are approx 20,000 other people there. Do I think that every single one of those people agree with me? Heck no. As long as they are not peeing on my leg, I say live and let live (yes NYCParrothead, you can still hump it). Do I get offended when they start cussing? Gosh darnit, no. Would I do things the same exact way they do? NOOOOO! So why should I change my (L)attitude to fit their expectation of their evening? If the guy next to me is belligerent, and my party does not like it, does that mean I can no longer be a smart-alec because his party does not like me? YES!! I mean, NO!!!
Do you all see what I am getting at here? We are all different. We respond to stimuli differently. In that other post the person suggested that I ignore and/or not respond to posts that I do not agree with. Um, hello, Mr. Kettle, this is Mr. Pot, you’re black.
In summary, this post got way too loooooooooooong, too. But I am not forcing my views on you, just setting myself up for a great thread.
If I have offended you with this post, YOU SHOULD HAVE HIT THE BACK BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, everyone please have a nice day.

Could someone start a poll to find out if I'm offended or not?

Now,
THIS is what I'm talking about.
But still a little weak if you ask me. Jumping on the homophobic bandwagon? Tsk, tsk, I have seen your other posts, you can do much better. But I will write it off to the early hour and your alleged hangover.

I can only imagine. Having to watch the Sox go 7 straight when you had them 3 outs away from oblivian (spell check please). NY should have been the place where the rioting happened, not Boston.

That would have been so much fun!!! I like a good riot now and then! Where else can you stomp someone to death and have a pretty good chance of getting away with it!! WOOO HOOO!!!!

I've noticed since I've turned 30 that I've had to cut down on my raping and pillaging, but I can still plunder with the best of them!
Oh and MURDER RULES!!!

There are no rules in murder.
From raping a pillaging to plundering and humping? You may need a new career.

Maybe there should be! Point values for things like blood loss, length of suffering prior to death, etc....

Kind of tame, but you're on the right track.
