Calling all artists: Support Jimmy Buffett car ribbons?

Ok, you've all seen the "Support Our Troops" ribbons on the backsides of most of the vehicles in front of you....Now I've seen pink ones and various other colored ones.

Why not a parrothead ribbon? It could be Manatee related or just plain Buffett related. Any takers? Or shall I say makers?

I'd put one on my car if there was such a thing...in fact, we could start a new trend and put them on the glass.

Good idea but I already support Buffett by purchasing his albums and occasionally attending his concerts, I don't really feel any need to advertise it. If I wanted to show my support for every artist I like I wouldn't be able to see out of my car. :D

I have noticed as your car nears the end of it's lifetime that bumperstickers are a fun and creative way of holding it together.

I don't mind fun things as you're suggesting and I would possibly be in favor of a parrot or fin shape but IMHO I feel that the overuse of the ribbon detracts from the original intent of the idea ......... to remember our troops and other important issues.

I never put anything on my car. You never know what crackpots might not like what they see and they'll vandalize your car. I know, it's a NY thing.

Quit putting "I love the RedSox" bumper stickers on your car and you should be ok! :P

I still think it's only a matter of time before you see all kinds of sticker signage....phan stuff in the form of a ribbon.

I am proud of and honor all US troops! :D

I have a car magnet, the smaller FINZ UP one from margaritavillestore.com. I had the larger-sized one, but it got stolen. At the 2002 Nashville concert, in the parking lot...can you imagine? I've had this smaller version for two years, it doesn't look like a removable magnet, like the big one did.

Unless you have a duct tape colored truck. It blended right in . . .

It is already happening ..... just the way things go. :D

I absolutely detest bumper stickers but to each their own.

I already have my own signage for being a Parrothead. I tried to keep it simple and not real 'stand-out' ... (and only on the window, never on the paint).

Semitruths,

Will be keeping your daughter in my thoughts...

I like your window sticker. How about smaller versions, one left and one right for each side of your back window or fender?

I got one of those FINS wheel covers for my Jeep.... and a JB oval magnet...

Slick!

Yep, there is one on each side on the rear windows. I also had an identical set about 1/3 the size (about 4x6) that I gave to a friend. She had me put them in the lower rear corner of the rear side glass of her Durango. I also have Buffett plate but that will be as far as I go .... no more Buffett stuff. I have a yellow 'ribbon' magnet but haven't put it on my truck for the reason I mentioned before ..... I think it's losing it meaning. I am trying to think of something unique to do for my daughter .... something small ... a sticker for the back window. Any suggestions would be nice. :D :D

I have two buffett bumper stickers on my car, and I've got a buffet-themed license plate

I understand that

In 94 my vehicle was stolen and it was found the next day in the woods.
The police called me to the scene and I felt like an arse when they commented on my bumper sticker that read
"D.A.R.E. Dare to keep a cop off of donuts"
It was a spoof of an educational sticker.
What really embarrassed me was that one of them was really obese.
I felt so bad that I ripped it off right then.
The officer told me that it should have read
"Dare to not have my car stolen"

Ever since I don't put anything that would offend anyone, well, except for really loud Buffettesque stickers.
Back before 5 'O clock somewhere when I had a
"WWJBD What would Jimmy Buffett do?" sticker
I even had people leaving me notes and invitations to church.

There's a Van in my home town that has a window sticker with a photo of a Marine and it says something about My son is proudly serving his country. I think you can purchase blank "Cling" type paper where you buy office products and print them on your own computer.
