It might be new in the midwest, but it's been a part of Husky Tailgating for years in the northwest. Just not called Cornhole

We've been playing a similar game in my family for years. The board is the same, but we don't use cornbags. We throw 3" diameter washers (the kind from the hardware store). They're flat metal, so they slide well. (We cover the game boards with industrial style carpet.) Being the imaginative family we are, we just called the game holey board. We should get out more!

Ummmm, around here, Cornhole has a very different meaning!!

Definitely not a "game" you play with your buddies in someone's backyard!

I made my own buffett themed cornhole boards. They were on Margaritavision at the Indy and Cincy shows when they showed everyone tailgating
