Trivia question-- help!

A local dj asked "What was Jimmy Buffet's top ten song" or "highest charting top ten song"? He specified that it was NOT a duet so not the Alan Jackson number. He also said it was NOT "Margritaville."

He gave the answer as "Come Monday."

I have been checking things like Billboard's Top 40 Hits, Encyclopedia of Pop Music, JB websites, etc. and I am not finding that "Come Monday" was a top ten hit. Was it on some other chart or in some other country? Or am I overlooking something a true Parrothead would know?

THANKS for any help. Even negative information, as I might have to talk to DJ to see from whence his source. This is bothering me!

According to the timeline on this very website...

"1977: Changes In Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes becomes Buffett's first platinum album. He also scored his only top ten single with Margaritaville "

According to the Buffett bio at CMT.com "Come Monday" was a Top 30 hit.

There is also this article that appeared in USA Today earlier this year that traces Buffett's chart history. According to their breakdown "Come Monday" never entered the top ten. I'm not sure exactly what chart position it reached because it's not mentioned at all in the breakdown of Buffett "hits".

1977 Margaritaville hits No. 13. Follow-up Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes reaches No. 24.

1984 When the Wild Life Betrays Me climbs to No. 42, followed by Bigger Than the Both of Us, which peaks at No. 58.

1985 Three hits: in chronological order, Who's the Blonde Stranger (No. 37), Gypsies in the Palace (No. 56), If The Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me (No. 16).

1986 Please Bypass This Heart bypasses the top 40, topping out at No. 50.

1993 Sam Cooke remake Another Saturday Night squeaks onto the chart for one week at No. 74.

1999 Duets with Alan Jackson on Margaritaville, a track from Jackson's roots- salute album, Under the Influence.

2003 Guest shot on Jackson's It's Five O'Clock Somewhere pays off with a No. 1 placing.

2004 Hey Good Lookin', with five country superstar cameos, reaches No. 13 (and may climb higher).

According to a source I go to...hate to say it, but the ENG book,
"Saxophone was the first single on L&D3/4T and went to only 105 in the pop charts...the next single, Come Monday, broke in May, going to Number 58 on Billboard's country charts, Number 30 in pop---and Number 4 in "Easy Listening." (Cash Box: Number 68 in country; number 26 in pop.)

Consider the source, who revealed the man from Margaritaville, that Jimmy didn't approve of.

An unauthorized biography, titled, JIMMY BUFFETT...The Man From Margaritaville Revealed, by Steve Eng.

Jimmy was not happy with this book at all.
