I may be mistaken, but I believe some, if not all, of the royalties of this album go to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
If this is the case, I'm buying 10 copies and giving them away as Christmas Presents. St. Jude Children's Hospital is an AWESOME charity.

I still have my LP from when I was a kid along with the Free To Be You and Me book. A couple of years ago I purchased it on DVD so my kids could enjoy video of Rosie Greer singing "It's Alright to Cry"IsleReef wrote:As a kid I had some kind of Marlo Thomas record..... I think it was called Free To Be You & Me???????? Now I am having some weird flashback...![]()

"Boat drinks, waitress we........nevermind"

He ain't wrong he's just different
but his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Bully in the playground
Where'm I gonna play?
Found a better playground
Half a block away
Made a little song up.
Caught a little rhyme.
An attitude of gratitude
Will do it every time.
An attitude of gratitude
When stuff has got you down
Can get you satisfatitude
And turn your world around
An attitude of gratitude
Hooray for what's okay!
Say thank you with emphatitude
And it's a brand new day.
Daddy's in the dog house.
Mama's up a tree
But I got Abuelita
Lookin' after me.
Made myself a sandwich,
A little P and J
An attitude of gratitude
Can chase the clouds away.
An attitude of gratitude
That's what it's all about.
That no-hope-to-be-had-itude
Is sure to wear out.
An attitude of gratitude
Hooray for what's okay!
Say thank you with emphatitude
And it's a brand new day.
Everything's a dollar,
A dollar twenty-five
Haven't got a dollar,
But I'm glad to be alive
I stole a look at Janey;
She stole a look at me,
An attitude of gratitude
It's absolutely free!
They say this is the showdown.
The say it's us or them.
They just can't see that us and them
Are relatives and friends.
I made a little song up.
Put it on the charts.
Says, "Come on, people! Everybody!
Open up your hearts!"
An attitude of gratitude
When push has come to shove
Eliminates combatitude
And changes fear to love.
An attitude of gratitude
Hooray for what's okay!
Say thank you with emphatitude
And it's a brand new day.

Old man here remembers, Award winning author and renowned humorist and "Professional panelist" on game shows in the 50's and 60's. I think it was "I've Got A Secret" or maybe "What's My Line" or bothspringparrot wrote:Is Christopher Cerf, Bennett Cerf's son??
