So What Would You Do????????????

Over the past three weeks I have had to replace a 4 year old stove, total $500, a new water pump on the car and tires, $830 and I am on the verge of losing a commission of $17,000 that I have been working on since January of this year.
Yes, things could be worse, but right now this is about all I can handle since the commission check is supposed to cover the last three months and Christmas. My thought is if it doesn't come through I/we head to Key West for about three nights and try to regroup and start a new.
I am trying to come to grips with life. What would you do?????????????

(((Bill))) ... I know all of this stuff really sucks for you right now.

But perspective? Your girls are healthy. You do still have a job.

You have a good family. Your home wasn't destroyed by any of the hurricanes. You and your keet get to see Jimmy next week.
One way or another, you'll be fine. Trust me.
Queenie.

As always Penny, you put a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart.

((((((((((Bill))))))))))) If going to KW for a few days will give you back your perspective and let you regroup - I say go for it and have faith that things WILL turn around!!! Time with your family wins over money any day!!!

BTE I saw a piece on the news theother day
that said bank robbery arrests are down like 75%
due to the FBI being pointed Elsewhere after 9/11
just a get rich quick scheme I was mulling over.
and thought I would share.

Bill, after being laid off twice and having to change jobs(because the office moved) 3 times in just under 3 years. I can say this with great conviction. Do not do anything on the spur of the moment. Whatever your choices make a plan. If it's go to Key West, do it with a plan.

If you subscribe to "everything happens for a reason", hopefully the resulting pleasure will be more than worth the pain! Keep your spirits up (figuratively and / or literally if need be) and a positive attitude, and you'll make it through!

Sometimes you just gotta say "What the *****!" Not much you can do about it, and making yourself sick over it isn't going to change anything. In fact it will most likely make the situation worse.
I say next stop Key West!!!

I did not know that my boat was taking passengers

My largest account went out of business and the money I have already been paid, was charged back on my last check. My commissions were -14.50. With a new house, the holidays and needing brakes, muffler and tires on my car, a $2000 chargeback was the last thing I needed
Keep your head up, from one Bill to another, "This too shall pass"
