MOTM 2005
Is it to early to start planning?
Oh so many things I can’t remember
And way too many things I can’t forget
What time does church begin? Tell the priest I’m checking in
I want to cleanse my soul so I can do it again and again and again and again
And way too many things I can’t forget
What time does church begin? Tell the priest I’m checking in
I want to cleanse my soul so I can do it again and again and again and again

Are you KIDDING??? I just this very morning called the Casa Marina and got two rooms reserved. The lady was very nice. And now I have to wait almost one year.
But it's good to know we'll have a room close to the action. The price for rooms scared me a little....I first asked for the two-bedroom suite and the price was $659
(those rooms aren't in the 'Parrothead block').

What would everyone say that the average cost per person a weekend at MOTM would cost. Say plane ticket, hotel room split 3 ways, and all the other goodies! Next MOTM will be the weekend after my 21st birthday, i wanna see if somehow I can swing it as a present to myself.

Thinking about.. ok.
NO NEVER TOO EARLY
I started planning 2004s trip 1 week after returning back from the 2003 trip. I already have my Oct 2005 trip planned. Sadly not in KW for MOTM, but NO hits from Phaw next year

whaddya mean, no KW in 2005? Where else, and what else could be more fun? (even if Jimmy doesn't come into town for a teeth-cleaning and decide to stay and sing a couple songs..Sidew13 wrote:SMLCHNG wrote:A1Jay wrote:Is it to early to start planning?Yes.

Budget about $1200, including room/meals/airfare/souvenirs. Figure that alcohol is going to be fairly expensive if you are buying it by the drink, so you might want to mix and carry your own for the large events on the lawn. maybe add on another 20% just in case you do something silly like lock your keys in the rental car.Sidew13 wrote:Ah yes Larry, I do believe you are correct.LIPH wrote:I think it's going up to $60 next year.Sidew13 wrote:depends on how much you drinkparrotheadmike wrote:What would everyone say that the average cost per person a weekend at MOTM would cost. The rooms at the Casa Marina are $205 for a one bedroom(with parrothead special rate), $659 for a two bedroom(not included in the parrothead block). That's about $1140 for a one bedroom....food: $50 a day per person....MOTM reg.: $60 per person....drinks: $200 a day per person
well, for ME anyway!
OH! Plane fare...I have no idea, I tried to check on web sites and the airlines don't have their schedules for Nov. 2005 up yet. Egads this will cost a fortune.
