Congratulations Mallory, Matt, and Victoria!!!
My ex husband adopted my son ...We made a big deal out of it...Got the "It's a Boy" cigars....and had monogrammed shirts for him with his new initials.....The adoption was finalized on my birthday, which was a great gift!
They are still very close today.....Best wishes and lots of phin power coming y'alls way!!!!

****Update****
We got all our paperwork turned in. Unfortunately, the soonest court date they could give us was Jan 24th so it won't "officially" be in time for Christmas...
...but we're still planning on telling her at Christmastime that it's *almost* complete as long as the Magistrate gives us the initial approval for the legal notice in the paper. That is generally a good indicator that the Magistrate will approve the adoption.
