just last week (maybe week before) I had a wicked spyware get on my puter. I had only been to 4 sites that day - this being one. All 4 sites are visited regularily by me too so I have no ideal where I got it. I reported it to a mod just in case and she was supposed to pass that info onto Jim.

Just to make it clear, it's not coming just from my posts. That was stated earlier in this thread but you may have missed it.

I started getting the MSN prompts last night and was getting them earlier today but they seem to have stopped for now.

I started getting the MSN prompts last night and was getting them earlier today but they seem to have stopped for now.

What happens is that someone has a picture or avatar that is protected. Scroll up on the thread and find someone with an X where the pic should be. Right click on the X and go to properties. If the URL is from the same website that you got the pop-up for, politely ask that person to fix or remove the picture. It worked for me. The reason it seems to clear up is that the thread has gone to a new page and the offending poster has not posted on that one yet. Or they have fixed it.
