Are you certain Shemane is the same girl/woman?

I'm pretty sure but in life there is no certanity. The last VH1 thing I saw on Ted showed him married to the same girl/woman and I believe her name was Shemane.

I have just been target practicing with a bow so far....... I'm pretty much a novice other than nailing some squirrel's with my sling shot for those tasty back legs......

I'm just trying to figure out what difference does it make if Ted did become guardian to a young girl and then latter married her. That kind of thing has been done by countless other man so why is it such a big deal that Ted did it??

Yes, Shemane is the name of his current wife. I am asking if that is the same person he got legal guardianship over. I thought the documentary said they broke up. I am not picking a fight.
