Heyyy not bad for an old guy
Lets see CLarion Head. MB Quart Q series 6x9's. A diamond audio 6-1/2" component set with offset titanium dome tweeters and active crossovers. 2 MTX 8000 series 12's in a sealed enclosure (which will be running on an Alpine MRD 1000 when I hook up the new one) and a 700 watt 4 channel Alpine for my mids and highs.
hahaha.. I had a old school dude hook it up for me. I wish I had gone with sub woofer and amp. May add that in the future.

LPO - I'm thinking about adding a powered bazooka tube for a little bass. Any experience with those? I drive a full size Chevy extended cab.

That would probably be ok..You don't want a ton of pound and they are self powered and pretty easy to hook up. If you just want a bit more kick they are fine. Now also MTX makes molded enclossure that would fit under the seat of your truck fitted with either 10's or 12's. It's not powered, so you would have to buy an amp..but that may be a little more punch than you want too. It's really easy to go overboard if you don't know what you want

I really don't need much, that's why I was thinking the tube would be ok. Crutchfield has a 100 watt powered 6 1/2 inch tube for $130 (marked down from $200).
Is this one ok or should I look for something else?

Hey thats fine. Now i'll tell you not that it's really not going to "hit". You won't get that resonance like you will from a larger sub. It will be more of a frequency amplification around the 70-80Hz range. But it should fit ur fancy im sure
