I run a restaurant. I HAVE had drinks thrown on me at work by drunks. Believe me, I was very tempted to go after them, but I kept my head. I've thrown them out, I've called the police.

Artest had a drink thrown at him. He didn't keep his head. Security should have been dealing with these fans but weren't. Artest had a natural reaction, but didn't control it. He deserves the suspension that he got.

But Wallace deserves more.

In the end, the Pacer's season has been ruined because the Pistons didn't have good security. Seems fair.

The Pacers season didn't end because of poor security it ended due to their own stupidity.

I am sure that this was not the first time that he had stuff thrown at him. Stuff gets thrown at you at the high-school level even. The point is to maintain control. He was not able to thus he is out for the year. Good riddence. I wish it was lifetime. You must be a Pacers fan with that last comment.

See, if fans had pro-hockey to watch this year, this never would have happened. Fans expect to see fights at hockey games.

Bring back hockey and voila!!

I'm with stupid on this one.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving

This is good for the NBA. People will actually watch now in hopes of seeing a fight.

If you have a minute, check out Artest's interview on the Today show this morning:

http://video.msn.com/video/p.htm

It's so bad! I don't know if he could make himself look any more of a fool... he's a complete lunatic. But , hey...he's keeping things positive!
Image`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
