two trips to the tropics
I’ve been reading A Salty Piece of Land and enjoying it. It’s an easy going, laid-back tropical tale, just what you’d expect from JB.
Though I’m only about a third of the way through, the most striking thing for me so far is the strong similarity to Key Weird. And I don’t say that just because I’m the one in charge of publicity and distribution for Key Weird (okay, maybe a little), because the two stories really do have a lot in common.
