My grandmother says the same thing.

I'm not crazy about it, but I will eat it once in a while.

But it has to be fresh made...equal parts of water and OJ, with sugar, ornage zest and a bag of fresh cranberries.
Just bring to boil, and remove from heat...add a splash of triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur.

A funny story. My brother and his new wife were celebrating the first thanksgiving as a married couple. My brother told his new bride how much he loved cranberry sauce. As they sat down to dinner, my sister-in-law handed Kenny a bowl of something liquidy. He asked "What is this?" she said "Silly, it's the cranberry gravy you love so much." Unfortunately, no one told her how to make it. She opened the can, poured it into a pan and cooked it into a gravy.
