PH4and all, these questions have been addressed previously AD NAUSEUM, with plenty of froo froo and not so froo froo analogies. Please PLEASE figure it out, and find something a wee bit more important to invest your energies in.ph4ever wrote:phjrsaunt wrote:Can you be a "little" more specific?ph4ever wrote:I've been in the process of responding to a thread that wasn't controversal - just a "have fun" thread like I've seen on many other sites and when I hit submit the thread was deleted while I was typing my response
yea - there was a couple of word association threads that were deleted right in the middle of them - right as I was posting my word. They were started up again and deleted.
And there is also the appearance of threads being deleted maybe because a moderator didn't like the content of the thread - the Gumby thread that was in the social area for example. I never saw a blatant violation of the rules and I was lurking thru it quite regularly. If therads are deleted because of bandwidth issues why not delete older inactive thread from say 2 years ago?

you asked and I responded and now I get a reply like this. I consider your resonse somewhat rude. If you didn't want to know then why did you ask?? Funny Auntie I considered you to be one of the mods that actually was a good person because you took the time to answer the questions - until now that is. The fact is the same questions and problems wouldn't be existing if the questions were answered with a truthful and decent response. And it is just as nausiating to receive an answer such as this as it is for you to be hearing the same questions over and over again.phjrsaunt wrote:PH4and all, these questions have been addressed previously AD NAUSEUM, with plenty of froo froo and not so froo froo analogies. So........why can't the "thread about nothing" conversation take place in the MSC???? Riddle me this.....nycparrothead wrote:Only if you can explain what the MSC chat thread is about... Other than people chit chatting.. Kinda like what's going on in the "thread about nothing". Why the hell would you delete it?phjrsaunt wrote:I hope no one will be surprised/offended/befuddled when I delete the "thread about nothing."

How bout because the MSC is very busy and it's hard to keep up with if there's too many people there?!?!?! Here's a brilliant idea!!! Why don't we put every thread into one thread and then anyone can talk about any subject in that one thread! This is a bunch of crap!phjrsaunt wrote:So........why can't the "thread about nothing" conversation take place in the MSC???? You know, part of what my profession requires is that I do some technical writing. Perhaps in my "spare time" I'll write the Policy and Procedures Book of BuffettNews moderating. Until then, we're just stuck with what we have, which is a group of moderators who have been regulars on the board for a pretty long time and were hand picked by the owner of the website.
I really do try to be fair and answer everyone's questions. I'm sorry if I sound like my patience is wearing a little thin, PH4. It is.
We do the best we can, and have good intentions. Sorry if that's not acceptable.

Anybody gonna respond to this??? Or are you busy deleting the MSC threads to justify your irrational behavior?nycparrothead wrote:How bout because the MSC is very busy and it's hard to keep up with if there's too many people there?!?!?! that's no exchuse for you being just plain rude to me - none at all. You asked a question I responded and you did not have to be rude to me. You chose to be rude to me.phjrsaunt wrote:You know, part of what my profession requires is that I do some technical writing.
