Thank you some more!!!!.....

As of right now he's doing very well. My phins are crossed for him, however. When the Vet called yesterday morning she told me that she was able to get the hip back into the socket but because the socket was already so badly deteriorated it wouldn't stay in there......kept popping out.

To my surprise (and her's too apparently) when I went to pick him up several hours later it was in place and had not popped out!!! He came pouncing out of the room as if nothing had ever happened!! If he can keep it in place for a few weeks, the fibers will start growing around it again to attach it properly. He doesn't seem like he's in any pain and is eager to go run around! We're just going to take it easy and see what happens. I feel very good about it.
