My national guard unit does support for the National Science Foundation in Greenland and Antarctica. Been to Greenland twice but couldn't make it to Antarctica cause it was during college (Oct-April), but now that that's over I'm hoping to get there next winter!!

There's plenty of snow where I am right now! I don't need to make a special trip for that.

Rough waters, great surfing, awesome diving about 20 miles off shore. oh and an incredible bar called Tamboo right on the beach..

grew up spending the summers on cape cod, connecticut technically is on the ocean.will see the ocean this this week ( key west / ft lauderdale ).

Seen several of them; seas, too . . . live near the Atlantic.

I need to live near water to be complete.
