My national guard unit does support for the National Science Foundation in Greenland and Antarctica. Been to Greenland twice but couldn't make it to Antarctica cause it was during college (Oct-April), but now that that's over I'm hoping to get there next winter!! :D :D :D

There's plenty of snow where I am right now! I don't need to make a special trip for that.

If you're serious, I could look into it for you. I've got drill this weekend.

(If you heard about the doctor with breast cancer that was stuck down there a few years ago, those were friends of mine that went down to get her out)

i'm very serious.i can fix pretty much anything mechanical/electrical.i figure their machines must break alot in the cold

I have seen the ocen and love. I always hate leaving the clear water to go back to theMuddy Mississippi. :cry:
Oh well, at least I am by some sort of water.

Rough waters, great surfing, awesome diving about 20 miles off shore. oh and an incredible bar called Tamboo right on the beach.. :wink:

grew up spending the summers on cape cod, connecticut technically is on the ocean.will see the ocean this this week ( key west / ft lauderdale ).
