I have tried to like MAc..I really have...At my moms school the entire multimedia lab is filled with macs...it makes me sick....After messing with networking 31 Macs I have quit them...I have hated them before..and still hate them now... OS X is sooo slow and I would take Linux over MAcintosh any day....but Windows is my choice. I can kill any mac with a PC...Even just for graphics work...which a lot of people use them for it is worthless.
Here is a short video....It has been around for a while...but it sums up Trashintosh so nicely...it's an absolute riot!

LOL
That video is damn funny.
But besides that guy and you, Plane, I don't know a soul who has had the problems with Mac that you're claiming. I'm on a G4 Quicksilver running OS X
Panther and it smokes most all my Microlost friends. I used to have to use Windows at work, and all of us would look forward to 2 or 3 crashes each day.
"Just keep saving..." was all the boss could say with a shrug.
I just spent an hour on Thanksgiving day helping my aunt correct a "fatal system error" that turned her PC into a flashing, blinking mess. She and my parents constantly have compatability issues running Windows ME.
Never have had one serious problem with my Mac. Work or home. Never had to freak out over a software virus. Don't have to load up a virus protection application each startup. Can't even name the last date that my system crashed, and as a designer and artist, I load it up with very heavy files all the time.
You can trash Mac all you want, but I'll be finished with job faster, and chatting here on BN while you're trying to get your pictures e-mailed over your own firewall. Enjoy!!

Well ME blows..that's why everyone has problems...anything that was based on the windows 98 kernel is poopoo. Now that 2000 and XP are dominant, most of the common problems are gone..I never have a problem with anything I do. Most peoples problems are dur to lack of computer care...no defrag..they DL everything and their hard drive is just a mess..therefore slowing down your system. I have never had any error whatsoever in Windows XP working woith my progs....I do some design on the side as well...and I on numerous occasions have file hogs open all the time....right now I am rendering in 3D Studio 7, I have Photoshop 8 open as well and a wireframe open in AutoCad 2005..ohh yeah...and winamp is open too..listenin' to Bubba. Thank god for 1 Gig of Ram and a 3.4....BTW it's a laptop too. I would love to go head to head with an iBook.

. But it doesn't really matter anyway...people will always use what they feel more comfortable using...it's just a matter of preference...no choices=communism

There's your problem right there! When ME was released, Microsoft expected its lifespan to be less than 6 months. It was supposed to be a quick fix until the next major roll out.
As for Apple, I loved my PowerBook. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to keep a $2000 laptop that didn't work with Outlook.
