As it is only the one song, I am not too disappointed, but it would be nice to have so I can get rid of my clip from AOL Music...

AMAZON shorted me too.

Okay and update on my Amazon saga.
After sending me a b/s answer to my first email I sent a second one to which they responded :
"I am sorry to hear about the problem you experienced with your
shipment. We will replace this item at no cost to you. However, we are unable to send individual items from a set. We will send you a replacement order for the entire set.
Once you have received the replacement and verified that everything
in the set is in acceptable condition, please ship back the set
containing the defective item.
I have placed a new order for the item. There is no charge for this
replacement. "

Let's see what happens next. :-?

Got a copy from the library today. It has the "Free CD Inside" covered with a white label. There is no cd inside and it looks like there never was one.

The copy I bought and received last week does have the cd inside.

I'd rather go pick a book or cd up myself regardless of whether or not I'd be saving a few bucks.
That way you can check it out yourself plus you don't have to wait for days after it's released.
Good luck on getting your cds.

Rec'd mine from Amazon-no CD-so I sent it back for a refund (pretty easy to do with Amazon, you can print up a return label from online). Bought a copy with the CD at my local bookstore.

My wife bought it at Target and it came with two CDs. I'd offer one up, but I already gave it away.

Damn, I'm glad I read this thread before buying this book. I checked the only bookstore left standing, in Port Charlotte Florida, yesterday and they have not received their shipment yet. I read Amazon.com's disclaimer, about the CD, and it clearly says: "While supplies last." So, not wanting to take a chance on getting a CD-less copy, I decided to splurge and ordered mine directly from Margaritaville Keywest. If that one doesn't have a CD, I'll be fuming!

I'll keep you up to date.

I'm not to sure if this was the right thing to do or not, but I also got hosed by Amazon, so I just went to Borders and told them that I received this as a gift and that I wasn't even sure where they got it and that I didn't have a receipt. I just asked if I could exchange it for one with a CD and they were very happy to do so. This might save the trouble of returning back to Amazon.
