Question of the day: Why was the doll on the Island of Misfit Toys?

This isn't trivia. I really want to know!
Although no one seems to know here either, they offer some ideas!:

Sideways, which I highly recommend, if you can find it in your area.

I watched Arlington Road today for the first time on a few years. I forgot how much I enjoyed that movie. Very interesting flick.

Just saw "Sideways". One of the funniest movies I've seen this year

Also saw "Closer"
Turns out this is meant to mean, as in '..nearer", ....NOT "guy who comes in from the bullpen in the 9th"

Mystic River

I enjoyed this well enough but was left someone confused by the female character that Kevin Bacon spoke to on the phone throughout the movie.
