A blessing or a curse?
I purchased my tickets for the December 8, 2004 simulcast concert (two tickets - $15). I admit that I am excited about a Buffett concert in December; however, I fear this is a sign of things to come. If you do the math (selling out 53 theaters at $15 a ticket), it comes to about $250,000. I can't help but wonder if this is some kind of trial run for the future. If he decides to cut back on his tour schedule, he can simply do a concert in his backyard and simulcast it around the country. A lot of the fun is spending time with other fans, but does he actually have to be there live? I guess I will find out next Wednesday. Jimmy has always been one hell of a businessman. I can't help but wonder if this is the future. Any thoughts?
