Don't be surprised about the sell-out....Vegas has nearly sold out 3 theatres and thats before most of our club members had purchased tickets!
Many of us were waiting to buy them night of show, but have jumped on board now as it didn't look like any would be available. It seems there's more parrotheads out there than we think there is!

I am talking about Westchester, NY, where the closest JB reference is south of the Mason-Dixon Line! What is driving me more nuts is that the show in NYC has not sold out!
I think there are only two explanations. One, scalpers went and bought all of the tickets or two, some group bought all of them. Trust me, I've lived in Westchester my whole life, there are very few people in this area who'd go to this kind of show.
Either way I will get to the bottom of it, and hope that I find a bunch of parrotheads that I never knew were around.

Don't give up on trying to get a ticket. I checked last night for a ticket in Charlotte and they were all sold out. Now this morning they are on sale again.

Not sure about the local PHC, but the local theater in King of Prussia, PA sold out one screen and has only 50 left for the second as of Monday afternoon. I doubt they'd add a third.
And even though they have an IMAX screen, they are showing this in the regular theaters. I am very disappointed!

Anyone going to the show in Dublin, CA? I've been surfing these discussions and haven't seen anyone talking about it. I am taking my virgin husband - should be interesting!

Going to get tix tonight for San Diego and I'm taking my rookie too.
I'll be searching for the tailgate party or staring my own!

My wife spoke with the manager of the theater near us (New Rochelle, NY). He told her that they did a conference call to see if additional screening could be added. The manager told my wife that no additional screens would be used. Not sure if that was just for his theater or nationwide.
Somehow I managed to score two tickets earlier today, even though it had said sold out for the past two days. I got an email confirmation so hopefully I won't have any problems tomorrow.
I'll be getting to the theater about an hour early with a nice buzz, and will be bringing in a flask full of rum. Since this is the closest thing to a show that I'll be attending this year I may bust out the good old concert shirt and a pair of shorts.

I don't know if the IMAX screens are equipped for a DCN. All RCM events are broadcast on a Digital Content Network through a different projector than film is shown on, and therefore typically are shown on regular screens, as far as I know.
Get there early, as the best seats are in the back. I went to a DCI show at West Town in Knoxville and wound up on the second row. It was very difficult to watch.

Thanks for the tip, although it's a bit difficult to take you seriously with the dude in your avatar nodding at me!!!

I'll be at the Dallas show with my 5 year old son. If eating Braums cheeseburgers in the parking lot counts as tailgating, then we'll be tailgating. Look for a black Chevy truck with a huge License To Chill decal across the back window and have some Kool Aid with us

Going to the show in San Diego. Hope I don't have to go in too early to get good seats. This is one time I do not want to be in the front row.

It's an hour and a half drive to the nearest theatre for me. Can't do that one.
