Hands down the worst and dumbest movie ever. Based on the Video Game this movie s***-diddilly-sucked big time. The plot was stupid and they inserted scenes from the video game in the movie. What a waste of time

Mother of God this movie sucked!
I totally agree with you on this. what a waste of time it was. fortunately, i didn't pay a dime to see it as NBC ran it this time last year. I am a huge fan of Christmas Vacation, and the original Vacation movie. European Vacation is ok, and Vegas Vacation is really stupid, but this Cousin Eddie's Island Christmas or whatever the hell it's called is just awful.
The only movie I have ever walked out of is Tin Cup. Just didn't get it.
BTW, a close runner-up to that awful Cousin Eddie movie is Malibu's Most Wanted. I watched part of it on HBO ON Demand a month or so ago. I couldn't get through the whole thing.

There was this movie I went with my teenaged son to see one time. I think it was called American Hero. It went something like . . . their eyes me across a crowded parking lot; she was snotty, he was martial artist-hunk type; they had to run from the bad guys - she is, of course, in a tight skirt & high heels; he breaks the heels off her shoes so she can run faster. I don't know what else happened because we left and joined another movie already in progress. I don't remember the name of it, but it was exact same (non)plot, only with a black martial artist-hunk type hero. I told my son that if he breaks the heels off of this girls shoes, we we're outta there. We didn't see the end of it either. Those were the 2 worst, although virtually every movie I've seen on an airplane comes in a close 3rd.

They should have left it as a book -- which I quite enjoyed.

obscure movie but the worst movie I ever saw was "Smurfs and the Magic Flute" I was at the right target age of 8 or 9 when it came out but the smurfs were barely in teh movie and Papa Smurf had a different voice. It was so disapointing. lol.
New nominee for worst movie

Ok all,
Try this one on...
"Space Hunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone - in 3-D"
(early 80's)
Intergalactic garbageman (seriously) picks up Mollie Ringwald when his robot babe fries a solenoid. They go cruising around on a Dune-like planet where really bad special-effect aliens also happen to live.
I saw it 20+ years ago, and still can't shake it...

Eeek!
I LIKED Horse Whisperer
I LIKED Tin Cup
I LIKED Titanic
and I even
LIKED The Color Purple!
But I did absolutely HATE Christmas Vacation 2.
Did someone actually make that movie and then screen it, and go on to say "Yeah, it's greattttt...let's put it out there!"
Are you KIDDING me?

Just a useless fact, but Doyle was an opthamologist, and by the end of his career had been (and might still have been) addicted to cocaine via ready access (medical cocaine was used to numb the eyes during surgery).

That had good scenery. I just watch it with the sound turned off when I need a reminder of "The Last Best Place".
(as a note tho, as a geographer, Robert Redford should stick to acting. Not one of his MT stories is accurate to the actual map..)

I though of 2 more on the way to work this morning. on consecutive weekends i saw Coneheads and Weekend at Bernie's 2. It was before we turned 21 so we couldn't hang out in bars yet so we were stuck going to movies and such. I don't think I have seen too many movies that were worse than them.....maybe the 5 minutes of Howard the Duck I sufferes through on HBO many years ago.

I thought "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" was SUPPOSED to be bad....sort of like "Killer Klowns from Outerspace"....they're so bad, they're GOOD!
