HELP! Need JB CD Line-Up Assistance To Convert Mother

Folks:

Last night I got my 60+ year old mother to attend the Buffett closed-circuit show from New Orleans. I had been trying to get her to a live show for years, but she hates screaming rock 'n roll, and thought JB might be more of that sort of stuff.

As it happened, and to my surprise, she LIKED what she heard last night.

I would like to put together a CD of JB standards for her to hopefully inspire her to attend a live show next year.

Soooo, considering what he played last night, and the nature of the person I am programming for, what 15 or so titles would you put on the CD?

Hey Bret.. (it is Bret, right?)

I could give you 50 songs that I think would be worthy, but instead I'll give you some advice. It would probably be good to include some songs from the show last night. It's always cool to hear a studio version of a song that you heard for the first time at a concert. Keeping that in mind, I'd recommend:

1. Creola
2. I Will Play for Gumbo
3. The Wino & I Know
4. Pascogula Run
5. Coastal Confessions

I'm stickin' with that N'awlins theme in case you couldn't tell...

she doesnt like screaming loud rockers? then i would put mostly soft ones and medium-soft ones on there like
changes in lat/att
one partic...
frruitcakes...
jollymon...
come monday (obviously)

i wouldnt put anything on there like get drunk and screw, just yet.lol

then maybe if she wanted another cd, i would go with stuff like get drunk, gypsies, margaritaville. etc

i dont know, depends on what she lieks too.

Ive converted pholks with a gift of "Songs you know by Heart" CD..its got songs lots of people have at least heard...(..Ive more than once heard..."Hey, I didnt know Jimmy Buffett sang that song")...Meet me in Margaritaville is good as a first 'everything' CD... :D

That's easy! Songs you Know by Heart will do it everytime
Then you sneak in some Meet Me in Margaritaville, Then hit up a few songs from Banana Wind then you gradually get them into the good old songs. Creola, Floridays, Tin Cup Chalice etc..

False Echoes is a very special song if your mother is the warm fuzzy type.

Thanks everyone...very much appreciated.

I am only going to make one CD right now so as not to overwhelm her.

Please keep the suggestions coming!
