a couple that stand out are

San Antonio - Mondo's Mexican Seafood
El Paso - Carnita's Carne Asada
Key Largo - Alabama Jacks

Cap'n Charlie's Seafood Paradise Swansboro, NC
Their deviled crab casserole is scrumpdillylicious

T & W's Oyster Bar Swansboro, NC
Their clam chowder just won a best in the state contest

Wilber's BBQ Goldsboro, NC
What goes good with naner puddin', hushpuppies and some sweet tea

When in Texas I enjoy Chuy's in Austin but I've been branching out to other Tex Mex places in recent visits. Maudie's is slowly but surely making it's way to the top of the list.

I love my Tex Mex in Texas but the best burrito I ever had was at Rio Oasis in Jaco, Costa Rica.

Joe's Stone Crab, Miami

The Grafton Hotel, Grafton Wisconsin (best prime rib I have ever had and I am from Chicago and had some of the best)

The little seafood shop and five table restaurant on Key Largo I can't think of the name. It was The Fish Shack or something like that

The 94th Floor of the John Hancock Building in Chicago. I don't care what the food was like. Looking at the greatest city in the world, while dining can't be beat.

The Anchor Bar, Buffalo NY...this is who invented a use for chicken wings

Ocean Eddies, Virginia Beach...food might have sucked, but the atmosphere rocked

The Yorktown Pub, Yorktown VA..sit in the window of this 1670's pub and watch the york river and an occassional sub go by
----------------------------------
RIP (no longer exist)

Sticky's 2x4, Clinton Iowa....Seriously best burger ever.

Penny's BBQ, Chattanooga....Pigs stood in line to get their pork pulled

Elliots Pine Log, Lincolwood, Illinois great Wisconsin lodge atmophere and outstanding food.

The Brittany, Bloomington Ill. If you wanted to "get any" in the 70's at Illinois State, you better drop the bucks for dinner at the Brit
