NOTHING justifies an adult talking to a child in any offendiing manner. Especially one of the opposite sex and I'm sorry I don't care if the sister is 18 she's a child!!!!
No, she is not. She can vote; enter into contractual obligations; volunteer for military service; she can own property; she can marry without parental consent (assuming no mental defect); and in many states, she is about 5-7 years past the age where she could be convicted of a crime in adult court.

Tasteless as the remarks were, she is not a child under the legal definition.

And here is a question: Say Matt (just as an example, not because he would) or TikiTom (same thing) had said the same thing about the girl? Would it have been any more an issue of her being "a child" being hit on by other "children"? (Be careful how you answer this, because there are 18 year old HS seniors who have younger significant others...)

I'm pretty sure if inappropriate comments had been made to or about your kids, you'd have a real problem with that........
my last comment....no SGH it would not bother me.because the person makin that comment over the web does not know my kids.....this site is not real life as some make it out to be...I'm out
My last comment because you are not worth the energy. My nephew came to this board with JB news, this site became REAL LIFE when comments were made about my niece and my nephew....now go worry about those important things in your life as I can't imagine what they are.

I think all of us know the difference between right and wrong, when we are willing to admit it. In this case, there can be many views/posts, but the bottom line is still the same, it should never have gone this far.

I did say something inappropriate  And I'm truly sorry for it because I meant it as a joke trying to help ST.SOMEWHERE get accustomed to the sit since he is a newbie on this site, but everything got carried away. I'm really sorry Island Time and ST.SOMEWHERE, I really wish you would come back because this site is awesome. I'm 16 years old, and I visit here almost every day, and love it. These people here are some of the greatest people ever, I mean people like PHAW and everything she does for our troops oversea, and Auntie and BEG who take care of us all. Everybody here puts a smile on my face, and there is nothing better than that when you are buried up to you neck with teenage responsibilities like report papers and sports. I'm sure you would have a different impression if you did decide to come back, because ST.SOMEWHERE seems like a great kid to me (he's the first BNer i've ever seen!!!).

Yes, I go for younger women, as most high school guys do :pirate:

Hi Tiki Tom,

Apology accepted and you seem like a great kid to me :) I don't think you will see ST. SOMEWHERE back here for awhile since I don't have time to monitor the site. You are right he is a great kid, but I don't think he has enough life experience to take care of himself here. He idolizes his big sister and out of respect for her would not come back. Fins Up!

I think enough has been said by one and all here. :-? Pictures of Jimmy remain. And apologies should not be mixed with attempts to justify the behavior. Say "I'm sorry" and move on.
