iuparrothead..........Donatella Versace
I don't think Donatella's death would make the evening news... unless she goes out in the same fashion her brother did!!! :o :o :-? :-?
I'm with you there, I never heard of her until today. But I don't get out much. :-?

Maybe a caveat to the rules should be that we are not allowed to do anything to "help" one of our candidates win the contest. It should go without saying but ya never know.

I guess I'll take a couple more opinions... I never heard of her either, but I recognized the Versace name and just assumed I should have heard of her?

Should Ann pick someone else folks?

I thought of that, but then half the people won't pay up! If figure at a dollar we'll still have a couple shmucks that won't send it... :-?

I know who Donatella is. I think her death would be noteworth on the 6 pm news simply because of her brother. If Ann wants to choose someone else, though, I think she should be allowed.

Um... I've thought it over..... And have decided that this rule stinks! If you are that dedicated to the contest that you off your celebrity, then you deserve the money!

Nice idea, but no!

It's not OK, but it isn't against the rules of this contest.

I think it just means that, if you do, you can collect the $24 (or however many). You decide if it's okay.

Maya Rudoph does a great impersonation of Donatella on Saturday Night Live:

Image

Her brother Gianni Versaci was murdered at his mansion by Andrew Cunanan, who killed four other people on a shooting spree and then killed himself on a houseboat in Miami.
