Keith Urban "Be Here" Tour Live DVD
for anyone interested, especially those who attended any of Keith's high energy concerts, there is a semi-confirmed rumour that he will be releasing a live dvd of this years tour. It seems that the DVD may include several different shows. It was confirmed that they were filming at the vegas show, and also at the LA show last night. No specifics about this yet and it hasn't been confirmed by KeithUrban.net, but for anyone interested here's a thread from another board:

if people are interested i'll try to keep this updated, if people aren't interested then there is no reason in shoving sh*t they don't care about down their throats

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!! He is the perfect example that mainstream does NOT always equal talentless .. . have you ever seen him live? He's absolutley amazing, the best concert i've ever seen! He is in my opinion the best guitarist alive todayIlph wrote:I know he's marketed about as much as Kenny Chesney, but damnit, I like this guy. And he is one hell of a songwriter and performer.

he has had a major headliner tour called "CMT on Tour Presents Keith Urban: Be Here Tour 04'" for the past 4 months going on 5 months, which has had many many shows, most of which have sold out. I know the cleveland show sold out in ten minutes, and i was lucky enough to get amazing tickets.msu#1 wrote:How many shows did he do without Kenny? Not a knock but he needs to do a major headliner tour before he releases a dvd. He is a hell of a guitar player.

this is very true . . . .look at Los Lonely Boys for example, they've only had one album and already released a DVD months ago. Plust, Keith is and has been headlining his own tour now for months, which was a great show indeed!Ilph wrote:Why would someone need to be a major headliner before they could release a DVD? URBAN TAPING FOR LIVE DVD
Two of Keith Urban's last shows of the year are in Los Angeles, last night and tonight at L.A's legendary Wiltern Theatre. They're spending two nights in the Wiltern to tape a live DVD, that will be worth the price when it's available.
KATRINA ELAM opens the evening and has gone from good to awesome, tight show, great vocals, confident, engaging stage performance.
The Keith Urban show has become huge, offering his multiple talents as singer, songwriter and master musician.

Not a major Headliner, a major headlining tour, if you put out a dvd and its full of shows where you were a guest then you look like a jackass, see every hair band from the 80's that used Bon Jovi's audience for their videos. I know he was out doing theatre's if I were him that wouldnt come across as a good dvd in little places.

he really let loose on the guitar on this album. . . there are so many more solos on this one than the last one. I love the solo at the end of "Nobody Drinks Alone" and the ones in "Better Life" and "You're My Better Half"Ilph wrote:I do.
