Christmas Confessions

The only thing I dont like about Xmas.When its over I half to shelve my "Christmas Island" C.D.--I know its just a Christmas C.D. and not a REAL C.D.----But I LOVE IT. The songs are great including Jimmys versions of the standards.His voice sounds great,Its well produced,And it has Fingers.

I Agree. I was a the doctors office today, and they were blasting it! Christmas Island is one of my most favorite things about Christmas.

As I just posted in another thread, I just finished listening to it for the second time today.
Want something new from it? Try hitting "shuffle" on your CD player. You know how when a song is ending you can sing the beginning of the next song? This throws that out of whack and now YOU have started a new song but the CD starts a different one. Seems like it gives you 1 or 2 extra songs. Plus "Twas the Night Before Christmas" is no longer the last thing you hear.

I heard Ho Ho Ho tonight on Special X-mas on XM, and have the following amusing story to share. (Humor me, and laugh)
My 7 year old, who is enthralled with Pad Data, looks at the radio display and shrieks "MOMMY! It's Jimmy Buffett!"
Me: Yes dear, I know....
Delaynie: "I can't believe they're playing a big COUNTRY MUSIC STAR like Jimmy Buffett on Special X-mas!"

We had a party at our health club last night. They forgot to have music so I ran out to the car and they played Christmas Island over and over all evening...

I do it all the time, and the looks on the faces of these clueless jerk-offs is absolutely priceless.
Of all of Jimmy's C.D.s, this is one of my top 3.

Yep, I have to admit that although its played for a bout 45 days straight at our place durning the Jimmy Buffett Birthday season. Its also a year round fav of mine....and I have to agree with the Ho ho ho and a bottle of rum in July....its the best....
