Regifting...
I gave ya'll fair warning.
How's ya'll feel about regifting?
What's the weirdest thing you've ever regifted?
What did you get that you SWEAR was regifted to you?
Ever get anything regifted to you that you gave to that person?
As for me, I haven't regifted in a LONG time, but I used to do it regularly with those bath/lotion gift set thaingies.
The one thing I know I got was regifted was a picnic backpack. Good idea in theory I guess. All the supplies for a picnic in a backpack. It was regifted to us by BGs cousin. We never used it so we were going to sell it in a garage sale when my friend said she wanted it. We gave it to her.

I have NO problem with regifting.....giving or receiving!
Christmas is stinking expensive and if you can find a "tasteful" (keyword here) way to reuse something.....more power to you!
I sort of regift all the time, I save baskets from giftsets or whatever and then make new gift baskets out of them.....recycle lots of stuff.

I'm not sure I have every been on the other end of regifting - I'd prolly never realize it
but I HAVE regifted but for perfume......people have been kind enough to buy me great perfume complete with lotions and such but I can't wear it as I'm allergic so I do pass that on - usually to my DIL and usually she knows it's a "regift"

I have occasionally regifted scented candles that I didn't care for the scent... I usually check with the recipient first and see if they like that scent first... It works well since we all like different ones and someone always likes the ones I don't care for....
No sense letting them go to waste....

When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

I've only regifted to one person.
My ex SIL was notorious for giving really cheep stuff to her husband's side of the family (my husband and hers were brothers) and giving real expensive gifts to her side of the family. SO we started having a "contest" within my husband's family on who could give them the cheepest gift. One year they gave us a candle globe - no candle - no - base just the freaking globe. The next year I bought a wooden base that fit the globe on sale for under a dollar and gave the base and globe back to them. I won the cheep contest that year!!

Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

It's just because of some chance that my memory won't let me re-gift without it getting back to the original giver than I don't do this!
I have no problem if someone passes along something I give if they truly cannot use it or don't care for it.
