So the other day- we're riding along in the car listening to Christmas music and I asked our twelve year old son Brett- who has been to four Buffett concerts with us at Alpine Valley (we're the lime green family for those of you that remember) and I asked Brett- Who was born on Christmas Day- and I WAS referring to Jesus Christ- and as innocent as can be Brett said- uh.... Jimmy Buffett- now that is classic- Rob almost pulled the car over we were laughing so hard- How sweet!

Happy Birthday Jimmy and Merry Christmas!

Was it too many concerts, or not quite enough?

It's good to see kids growing up with some knowledge of the world around them. 8)

Today while listening to "Pencil Thin Moustache" in the car my 10 year old son belted out "And all you want to do is learn how to score" followed closely with "Squals out on the ocean". I crack up at my children knowing most every word to every Buffett song!!! But, sometimes when a 10 year old is singing them ya kinda go "hmmmm". HA! HA!

We've had to curb our "Pencil Thin Moustache" listening for our 7 year old...she gets us on the "drinkin' on a fake ID" part.   It's sooooo cute to hear them sing along, but on the other hand :-? :-? sometimes.

My daughter, Savannah, was recognizing Jimmy when she was only 2 years old. Her favorite songs are Cheeseburger, I will play for gumbo, Stars on the water, and Ragtop day (which she calls the "kangaroo song" for reasons still unknown) :D

Nice story.

My little bambini has not been to a Bubba show, she will this year, but the first three words she ever sang to a song were "Don't Chu-Know" at age two.

Then she got into the fins song with fins to the left fins to the right and after that it was "Thank God The Tiki Bar is Open".
