Here is writer Doug Elfman's top 10 concerts of the year in Las Vegas....
TOP 10 CONCERTS
1. Rufus Wainwright
2. The Warped Tour
3. Carole King
4. Annie Lennox
5. Aretha Franklin
6. Beastie Boys
7. David Bowie
8. Ben Kweller
9. Prince
10. Bette Midler
How this list can be compiled and Jimmy Buffett not make it over some of the others listed is just unimaginable to me!

Maybe if I lived there I'd feel differently, but the only act that is a "must see" on that list is Carole King. I can see how this person wouldn't include Buffett as one of his personal favorites based on what he saw.
I WOULD also pay to see Sting and Bette Midler.

I would pay to see Carole King in a heart beat . . and Midler, too. And, I'd pay to see Sting if Chris Botti was playing trumpet that night!!!

I've never heard of Rufus Wainwright or Ben Kweller.
And anyone who puts Annie Lennox, Prince, and/or Bette Midler in their top ten list, I can not take seriously.

Rufus is the son of Louden Wainwright III, the guitar player on MASH. Have not heard much of Rufus's music, but always enjoyed Loudens stuff. Like "hard day on the planet" "cardboard boxes" . Good stuff. Oh Cardboard boxes is playing on the I-pod RIGHT NOW!

The only one I'd even consider seeing is Aretha Franklin.

Prince is a good show so I'm glad to see that one make the list. He performs live AMAZINGLY!! I'd see the Beastie Boys or Aretha too but I doubt the BBoys would be on my list of "best ever concert expereinces". Seeing Aretha would just be cool!
