Little Feat recorded a Will Kimbrough song for the new release. The song is called "Champion of the World".

I still like Little Feat but I've never confused their new work for anything they cut when Lowell George was still alive. Unfortunately most of what they put out now seems to have more in common with Michael McDonald-era Doobie Brothers than the original Feat sound. Still, I'm interested to hear the new record.

THEY FINISHED THE DAY BEFORE I GOT DOWN THERE IN DECEMBER.OUR TOUR GUDE (TRAILS OF MARGARITAVILLE)TOLD US YOU CAN HEAR THEM RECORDING. THEY HAD THE STUDIO DOORS OPEN.THAT WOULD OF BEEN PRETTY COOL.
