Helllloooooooooooo! Just wondering what everyone's up to for New Year's Eve?
Are you phlocking to Atlanta?
Enjoying the night at home?
Going out to party it up in whatever city?
I think we're staying home as we'll have the keets on NYE this year, but we are going to a 9pm fireworks display in downtown denver to celebrate it "early" with the kids. A far cry from how it used to be in "my younger days when I was soooo baaad"....but I think I'm OK with that.

I wasn't planning on having a party but Christmas day my dear brother Kenny and I had the following conversation, if you can call it that.
K: What time, at your house on Friday?
D: What time for what?
K: The party
D: 8:00??????
K: Ok
I normally do have a little get together and I guess everyone is expecting it now. So, I'm having a party for New Years! If anyone is passing through MD on their way to Times Square, stop in!

3. Repeat as necessary.

LOL, New Years Eve? That's what I call "Amateur night." When the majority of your nights, and weekends, are celebrated like New Years Eve, it's really not that big of a deal. With all the idiots, who don't normally drink, behind the wheel and the sobriety checkpoints, it's just not worth it. So, I'll either stay home or celebrate with friends, and family, and spend the night wherever I fall.

I'm just going to throw it down here in Chi-town. This is the first time in 7 years that I've stayed home for NYE... normally I travel around this time of year. I'll miss being in Atlanta for the big gig!
But I'm happy to be hanging with my pals this year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

From what I hear, North Florida isn't all that warm either. Ya might want to head futher south.

I'll be sitting in a hotel room with the family in Orlando.

Disney and Universal are too expensive and crowded. I don't want to deal with traffic and comming into the room with alcohol on my breath, that would be fun to explain!

However, I get to watch all of the bowl games Saturday at the ESPN club on the boardwalk at Disney! That will be fun!

No, it's not. In fact, it's usually not much different than NC this time of year but that's my destination. I had hoped to escape to the Keys for a week of Donna the Buffalo at Schooner Wharf but that's not in the cards (or wallet) this time out.

Heading down to my alma mater to meet up with some fraternity friends for a weekend of debauchery, just like the old days. If our girlfriends and wives will let us. Things change, man.

Ditto!!!
I don't need an excuse to party like a rock star! In fact I do it a few times a week.

2nd annual at friends... adults and kids... slumber party...
If it's like last year, we'll be drinking Painkillers with coagulated coconut milk! Was quite a hysterical sight!

I will probably be doing the same thing I do most nights. Nothing! My wife's "best friend" usually comes over on NYE and we drink and get naked at some point but I don't think she is going to show up this year. She is having a real serious

mental problem!
