Hands down, the best "partner" was Chris Noth. And as for the female Asst. DA, Claire Kincaid was my fav. I was majorly bummed when they killed her off.

Agreed. Chris Noth was probably the best. I just loved looking at Ben!

Next time PBS reruns that special from Tony Award performances, watch for Jerry Orbach's 42nd Street number. I found him to be one of the great modern entertainers that represented an era long gone from Broadway.

I loved his work on Law and Order. He was on there for quite awhile too...

This is going to sound bad, but I'm going to admit it. When I heard that he died, instead of being sad the first thing that went through my head was if this meant somebody won the BN Celeb Death-Watch Pool
