Margaritaville Looks At Twenty

Post by PHAW Webmistress »

Margaritaville Looks At Twenty
Two decades ago in a small shop in Key West, Florida the
Margaritaville Store opened it's doors. For us it's been a place
to work, for others a place they long to visit. What does
Margaritaville mean to you? Send us an email, 400 words or
less describing an experience or event you've had with or at
Margaritaville. The best one's will be printed in upcoming issues
of the Coconut Telegraph and posted online
info@margaritaville.com

hmmmmmmmmmm Creeky's article in Coconut Telegraph and posted at the store would be interestsing or the day SGH and I realized we were January 2004 poster children :D :D

Or the day about 60 of us converged on M'ville Vegas and had to explain to the hostess...."Umm, maa'm...I can't tell you how many there will be because, well, we don't exactly know who they are."

Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around

I'll see if I can't do a rough draft for it tonight. Any other help is welcome too. I'm a writer by profession but mostly technical stuff so let's see how creative BB can be.

It might be hard to pass the letter around for real signatures in time, but we can certainly compile a list of Vegas-M'ville-Goers that day and get everyone's name on there. Should we use real names? BN names? Or both?

Shall we include pictures as well?

Does anyone have a picture of the faces of the staff as more and more of us kept showing up?

I'm quite confident in bb's creativity! Can't wait to see the recap, as I recall the stories in the Vegas threads quite humorous, and I wasn't even there!!!

Don't know if you're going to openly share it on here, or keep it under wraps so mville can unveil it for the rest of us, but either way, good luck!

I have been lucky enough to visit the Key West, Orlando, and Myrtle Beach locations. Later on this year, I plan on stopping in at the one in New Orleans. And hopefully I plan to hit the CheeseBurger in Paradise lacals in Ashville and Myrtle Beach.

I didn't have the chance to work on it yesterday, but I should have some free time today.

I can either post it here or send it in PMs or E-mails to anyone who may want to add revisions. It's really up to the group. And we'll need to compile a list of everyone who wants to "sign" their name.

When I got there, I asked the waitress and she said "They are down there in the middle- you can't miss them." That was right away when there were less than a dozen there! The other patrons were really enjoying Coconuts umm... "purse"! Some even "tried it on"!
